Ayodhya Ram Mandir opening: On January 22, the day of the Ram temple’s consecration event, only those with valid invitations or those on official business would be permitted entry into Ayodhya.
Additionally, authorities want to cancel reservations in advance so that people invited by the trust are given priority.
In a review meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reportedly gave the Ayodhya authorities instructions to ask nearby hotels to cancel advance reservations wherever feasible and give preference to the trust’s invitees. This was reported in the Times of India.
The chief minister requested that plans be made for pilgrims to stay in hotels and dharamshalas at predetermined prices. According to the article, he declared that only individuals with invitation documents or those on official job will be permitted entry into Ayodhya starting on January 22.
On January 22, the day of the pran pratistha event, CM Adityanath ordered that all reservations made at nearby hotels and dharamshalas be canceled in order to avoid any management issues. He emphasized that almost 100 planes would land at the Ayodhya airport and that special invitees would arrive in Ayodhya.
On December 30, the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport and the Ayodhya railway station will open. In addition, he would wave off two trains—a Vande Bharat among them—from the train station. In Ayodhya, PM Modi will speak at a public gathering following the inauguration.
