During a recent visit to Lakshadweep, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went snorkelling to discover the underwater life. He posted images of his adventure and described the trip as a “exhilarating experience” of the Arabian Sea islands.
Modi also posted images of his leisurely walks on the immaculate beaches of Lakshadweep early in the morning and moments of relaxation while lounging on a chair by the shore in a number of posts on X.
Congress swiftly criticized Modi for his travels in his postings, claiming that “PM Modi is an expert in the art of running away from responsibilities.”
The party responded to the photos in a post on X, writing, “The Indian Prime Minister is having fun.” The coastline is a great area for photography. Various outfits are being photographed. This is a beautiful pose: at times lounging on the beach, at other moments having fun with the surf.
The Congress questioned the PM’s trip, citing the ethnic violence that erupted in Manipur in May 2023. For eight months, Manipur has been in flames. Murders of people continue to occur. Indian nationals are being tortured, killed, and made homeless. However… The Prime Minister of India is where?
On January 2 and 3, Modi visited Lakshadweep to cut the ribbon on the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection and to lay the groundwork for the rehabilitation of five model Anganwadi centers and a primary healthcare facility. He also committed to a number of national projects.
According to Modi, improving development in Lakshadweep is the government’s main goal. “It is not just about building futuristic infrastructure; it is also about maintaining and promoting the rich local culture and opening doors for improved healthcare, faster internet, and drinking water. This spirit is reflected in the projects that were inaugurated, Modi added.
Improving Lakshadweep’s development is the government’s primary objective, he says. “It’s not just about developing cutting-edge infrastructure; it’s also about preserving and advancing the vibrant local culture and creating opportunities for better drinking water, faster internet, and healthcare. Modi continued, “The projects that were inaugurated reflect this spirit.”
“Lakshadweep is more than just a collection of islands; it is a monument to the spirit of its people and an everlasting legacy of customs. “My visit has been a rewarding experience of growth and learning,” Modi remarked.
