PM Modi will open the redesigned Ayodhya railway station on December 30

On December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station and launch six new Vande Bharat trains and two new Amrit Bharat trains.

The cost of redeveloping Ayodhya Railway Station was Rs 240 crore. According to a statement, the station has been renovated into a three-story facility with contemporary amenities such as food plazas, cloak rooms, escalators, lifts, and child care facilities.

On Saturday, Modi is scheduled to visit the town in order to officially open the newly constructed Ayodhya railway station and airport. He’ll also speak at a public gathering close to the airport.

Railway officials told PTI that the first two Amrit Bharat Express trains will depart from Ayodhya. These trains are outfitted with the newest technology to guarantee that passengers do not experience any jerks during their journ

Through Ayodhya, Malda Town in West Bengal, and Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus in Bengaluru, the trains will travel between Darbhanga in Bihar and Anand Vihar in Delhi.


Amrit Bharat trains provide a pleasant ride across numerous destinations at a top speed of 130 km/h thanks to semi-coupler technology, a novel advancement in train operations.
