Salaar review:
In the Hindustan Times movie review, it was stated that Salaar demanded your undivided attention. Although the first half grips you and develops momentum effortlessly, the second half falters a little bit and seems a little drawn out with several complicated scenes that should have been cut to cut the length by at least 20 minutes. Still, Salaar’s captivating tale is only made better by deeply complex characters that act with such subtlety. Prabhas has at last made a strong return following a run of unsuccessful films including Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush.”
The movie’s first-day gross exceeded both of Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 blockbusters, Pathaan and Jawan, which opened with global box office receipts of ₹106 crore and ₹129.6 crore, respectively, and Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, which brought in ₹116 crore on its first day.
Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy are also featured in Salaar. Prashanth and Prabhas, who worked together for the first time to create the massive action-packed cinematic spectacle, also mark their biggest cooperation with this film. In the movie, Prabhas portrays the title role of Salaar. The movie Salaar: Part 2 – Shauryanga Parvam is the sequel.
